Design, Think, Learn:
Supporting pupils and teachers in schools

Working with schools

During my research for my Masters degree, it became apparent that teachers, regardless of their level of experience, often experience apprehension when it comes to teaching design and technology. This is understandable considering the concerns surrounding safety, organisation, generating ideas, accessing resources, and building confidence, as highlighted in my research, which has been presented at the Faculty of Education and at an international conference.

However, this does not imply that teachers are unwilling to teach the subject; rather, they seek assurance and support. At Design, Think, Learn, we specialize in offering in-person classroom support to address these challenges.

According to the national curriculum, schools are mandated to deliver a range of creative and practical activities, ensuring that students acquire the knowledge, understanding, and skills necessary to engage in an iterative process of designing and making.

Design, Think, Learn might be precisely what you need, as we offer high-quality, engaging Design and Technology workshops and projects tailored for primary-age children in your school environment.
